Kishor Metzudat Tefen Dry Red Blend

Kerem Tefen Fortress 2018 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah. Here you feel a ‘transition’ to wines with a different character and style: with the addition of the boat, the presence of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend fills it, creating an impressive wine with a different kind of presence than the wines in other series. Immediately after pouring, wonderful fruit intensities open in the glass: purple aromas with greenish touches, accompanied by almost imperceptible chocolate notes. The mouth is remarkably smooth – seemingly full, but still retains the typical fruit tightening of the winery. A perfect wine for red meats on the fire or in long stews, for maturing cheeses – especially goat cheeses.
